Two years prior to the London Olympics 2012, TPR was asked if we could find a berth for a 126m super yacht on the River Thames for Microsoft founder Paul Allen friends & family. The yacht owner required that the yacht be positioned in an accessible location to host day trips to Olympic venues. Not your run of the mill question. We accepted the challenge, and there began our love affair with yachts of all shapes and sizes.

The project soon grew from finding a position on the River Thames, deep and wide enough to negotiating an appropriate berth fee with the owner, The Canals and River Trust, at West India Quay and furthermore reaching an agreement with the present occupier, The Docklands Sea Scouts to vacate the berth for one month. TPR created a travel plan for all modes of transport including journey times to help planning travel within London. This project involved dealing many stakeholders including The MET, Canary Wharf plc, London Borough of Tower Hamlets, TfL, Port of London Authority & Harbour Masters and local residents.
